High schooler Minami never wanted to be the manager of her school’s mediocre baseball team, but her best friend has that job, and she’s in the hospital, so it’s up to Minami to step up. Since she knows nothing about the job, she stops by a book store and picks up a book called “Management” by Peter Drucker. It’s only after she gets home that she discovers that the book is about business management. Oops. Deciding to barrel through anyway, Minami quickly learns that managing people is the same everywhere, and that Drucker was famous for a reason.
Soon, the team is working together like never before, winning games, and above all, having a good time. Based on the novel by Natsumi Iwasaki, and inspired by the works of the real life management pioneer, Drucker in the Dugout proves that leadership and kindness are not mutually exclusive!
