Video Services

I do quite a bit of pro video work, and I’m pretty proud of the level of quality I’m capable of putting out. As obsessive as I am with my personal media hoarding, I tend to be even more obsessive with your work. My skills include:

  • DVD and Blu-ray authoring (from producing through compression)
  • Inverse telecine (i.e. making 24p video out of interlaced material)
  • Analog video restoration
  • HD upscaling
  • Compression of all kinds, for web or disc
  • Formatting and editing
  • Subtitling (burned-in or removable for DVD, BD or iOS)

I can handle import and export in virtually any format under the sun, from MPEG-2 Mezzanine formats to Blu-ray-ready asset files. I’ve successfully delivered content to Playstation Network, Apple, Hulu, YouTube, and many others, and can assist you in doing the same.

Nearly every video streaming service has their own wacky rules and modes of delivery. I can help you straighten out all the technical jargon and deliver the quality video people demand, and I can do it quickly and cheaply.

My client list includes NYAV Post, Genius Products, ImaginAsian Entertainment (now M-NET), Asian Media Rights, Bandai Entertainment, NIS America, Aniplex of America, and many independent producers.

Here’s what people have said about my work:

VIDEO QUALITY: A+ If you have a Blu-ray player I strongly recommend watching it in high definition since this series looks stunning.

Kurokami: The Animation looks impressive on Blu-ray despite the inherent budgetary limitations of the production. When you remove the aspects attributable to the source material, this is a fine transfer with little room for complaints. All in all, this is a strong visual presentation for the opening chapter of the series, which I hope is maintained through future volumes.

The movie’s color palette is muted, but what is there is captured perfectly by the DVD, as the greens and browns of Vietnam and the murkiness of the ocean waters look tight, aided by the high level of detail and and overall sharp image. There’s not a speck of dirt or damage to be seen and the transfer is free of digital artifacts. This is the kind of film you can take stills from and make beautiful posters.
